Blue Sea of Ibrox

I've sailed the wild Atlantic
Crossed the broad Pacific Shore
I've sailed around the Stormy Capes
And heard the forays roar
I've plied the Indian Ocean
I've sailed the China Sea
But there's a sea back home on Scotland
More than all the rest to me

It's The Blue, Blue, Blue, Sea of Ibrox
It's the greatest sight that I've ever seen
It's The Blue, Blue, Blue Sea of Ibrox
and it's part of every Rangers Player's Dream!

No more I'll Sail The Seven Seas
No more I'll ever roam
No more I'll fell the urge again
I'm back where I belong
At 3 o'clock each Saturday
I'll join the mighty throng
With Flags and Banners all around
I'll proudly sing this song

It's The Blue, Blue, Blue, Sea of Ibrox
It's the greatest sight that I've ever seen
It's The Blue, Blue, Blue Sea of Ibrox
and it's part of every Rangers Player's Dream!

No more I'll Sail The Seven Seas
No more I'll ever roam
No more I'll fell the urge again
I'm back where I belong
At 3 o'clock each Saturday
I'll join the mighty throng
With Flags and Banners all around
I'll proudly sing this song

It's The Blue, Blue, Blue, Sea of Ibrox
It's the greatest sight that I've ever seen
It's The Blue, Blue, Blue Sea of Ibrox
and it's part of every Rangers Player's Dream!
It's The Blue, Blue, Blue, Sea of Ibrox
It's the greatest sight that I've ever seen
It's The Blue, Blue, Blue Sea of Ibrox
and it's part of every Rangers Player's Dream

The Famous Glasgow Rangers

As I Was Walking Down The Copland Road
I Meet A Bunch Of Strangers
And They Said To Me
Are You Going To See
The Famous Glasgow Rangers
So I Took Them Up To Ibrox Park
Just To See The Flags Unfold
After That Display They Had To Say
Your The Best Team In The World
Some People Writing Songs About
The Land That They Adore
And Some About Who Fought And Won
Their Countries Greatest Wars
Some Others Still Feel Quite Content
To Use Another Field
But I can Write A Song About
A Famous Football Team
AS I Was Walking Down The Copland Road
I Meet A Bunch Of Strangers
And They Said To Me
Are You Going To See
The Famous Glasgow Rangers

The Billy Boys

Hello, hello, we are the Billy Boys
Hello, hello, you'll know us by our noise
We're up to our knees in Fenian blood
Surrender or you'll die
'Cos we are the Bridgeton Billy Boys

The Sash

Sure I'm an Ulster Orangeman, from Erin's isle I came
To see my British brethren all of honour and of fame
And to tell them of my forefathers who fought in days of yore
That I might have the right to wear the Sash my Father wore

It's old but it is beautiful
It's colours they are fine
It was worn at 'Derry, Aughrim, Enniskillen and the Boyne
My Father wore it as a youth
In bygone days of yore
So on the twelfth I proudly wear
The Sash my Father wore

For those brave men who crossed The Boyne have not fought or died in vain
Our Unity, Religion, Laws and freedom to maintain
If the call should come we'll follow the drum and cross that river once more
That tomorrow's Ulsterman may wear the Sash my Father wore

It's old but it is beautiful
It' colours they are fine
It was worn at 'Derry, Aughrim, Enniskillen and the Boyne
My Father wore it as a youth
In bygone days of yore
So on the twelfth I proudly wear
The Sash my Father wore

And when some day across the sea to Antrim's shore you come
We'll welcome you in royal style to the sound of flute and drum
And Ulster's hills shall echo still from Rathlin to Dromore
As we sing again the loyal strain of the Sash my Father wore

It's old but it is beautiful
It's colours they are fine
It was worn at 'Derry, Aughrim, Enniskillen and the Boyne
My Father wore it as a youth
In bygone days of yore
So on the twelfth I proudly wear
The Sash my Father wore

Follow Follow

Though the straits be broad or narrow then follow we will
Follow we will, Follow we will
Though the straits be broad or narrow then follow we will
We will follow in the footsteps of our team

Follow Follow we will follow Rangers
Everywhere anywhere we will follow on
Dundee, Hamilton
F*** the Pope in The Vatican
When they go to Dublin we will follow on

For there's not a team like the Glasgow Rangers
No not one and there never shall be one
Celtic know all about their troubles
We will fight till the day is done

For there's not a team like the Glasgow Rangers
No not one and there never shall be one

Every Other Saturday

Every other Saturday's my half day off
and it's off to the match I go
Happily we wonder down the Copeland Road
me and my wee pal Joe
We love to see the lasses with their blue scarves on
we love to hear the boys all roar
But I don't have to tell you that the best of all
We love to see the Rangers score

Me o me o me o my
oh how we love to see them cry
Love to see the lasses with their blue scarves on
we love to hear the boys all roar
But I don't have to tell you that the best of all
We love to see the Rangers score

Derry's Walls

The time has scarce gone round boys
Three hundred years ago
When rebels on old Derry's walls
Their faces dare not show
When James and all his rebel band
Came up to Bishop's Gate
With heart and hand and sword and shield
We forced him to retreat

We'll fight and don't surrender
But come when duty calls
With heart and hand and sword and shield
We'll guard old Derry's walls

When blood did flow in crimson streams
Through many a winter's night
They knew the Lord was on their side
To help them in their fight
They nobly stood up on the walls
Determined for to fight
Or fight and gain the victory
And raise the crimson high

We'll fight and don't surrender
But come when duty calls
With heart and hand and sword and shield
We'll guard old Derry's walls

At last, at last with one broadside
Kind heaven sent them aid
The boom that crossed the Foyle was broke
And James he was dismayed
The banner boys that floated
Was run aloft with joy
God bless the hands that broke the boom
And saved the aprentice boys

We'll fight and don't surrender
But come when duty calls
With heart and hand and sword and shield
We'll guard old Derry's walls

Build my Gallows

I am a loyal Ulsterman
They say this day that I must hang
I fought the IRA, now they say that I must  pay
They say this day that I must hang

So build my gallows, build them high
That I might see before I die
The Antrim glens, the hills of County Down
And see again the lights of home

The Sash (Gers version)

It is old but it is beautiful,  it's red it's white  it's blue
It's worn on the slopes of Ibrox Park and a place called Parkhead too
My father wore it as a youth in the bygone days of yore
And it's on display every Saturday
Every time the Rangers score

King Billy's on the Wall

Well there's a famous painting that everybody knows
It stands upon a gable wall over Sandy Row
In memory of King William and brothers who did join
They fought for our deliverance at the Battle of the Boyne

King Billy's on the wall, King Billy's on the wall
He stands so high, he shines so bright, He lights up the falls
There's millions come to see him, they stand and gaze in awe
They remember 1690, King Billy's on the wall

There are slogans painted in red, white and blue
They tell the pope where he can go and what he can do
There's one for Gerard Rice, well that's a different class
Go take the Lower Ormeau Road and stick it up your arse.

King Billy's on the wall, King Billy's on the wall
He stands so high, he shines so bright, He lights up the falls
There's millions come to see him, they stand and gaze in awe
They remember 1690, King Billy's on the wall

Now the next time you're in Ulster won't you come and have a look
Stand beside that mural and have your photo took
Set it on the mantelpiece or hang it in the hall
So the whole world can see King Billy's on the wall

King Billy's on the wall, King Billy's on the wall
He stands so high, he shines so bright, He lights up the falls
There's millions come to see him, they stand and gaze in awe
They remember 1690, King Billy's on the wall

King Billy's on the wall, King Billy's on the wall
He stands so high, he shines so bright, He lights up the falls
There's millions come to see him, they stand and gaze in awe
They remember 1690, King Billy's on the wall........

Number One Platoon

I'll remember I'll try, it was nearly July
As we walked down the road I'll remember the year
There was me, there was Sam, Jimmy Sloan and McCann
Would enlist in the Volunteers.
And the man says to me, 'Boy I hope you will see
'And remember this day all the things you've been taught'
It could be now and then, we we'll fight once again
For the things that our grandfathers fought.
And I swore like the rest to the badge on my breast
To the gun in my hand I will fight for my land
With my hand held high I took that vow
And I joined Number One Platoon

And deep down inside my heart fills with pride
I remember the men who have fought through the years
I could name quite a few but to me and to you
They were Ulster Volunteers......
And the man says to me, 'Boy I hope you will see
'And remember this day all the things you've been taught'
It could be now and then, but we will strike once again
For the things that our grandfathers fought.
And I swore like the rest to the badge on my breast
To the gun in my hand I will fight for my land
With my hand held high I took that vow
And I joined Number One Platoon

And the man says to me, 'Boy I hope you will see
'And remember this day all the things you've been taught'
It could be now and then, we we'll fight once again
For the things that our grandfathers fought.
And I swore like the rest to the badge on my breast
To the gun in my hand I will fight for my land
With my hand held high I took that vow
And I joined Number One Platoon

With my hand held high I took that vow
And I joined Number One Platoon

With my hand held high I took that vow
And I joined Number One Platoon

And I joined Number One Platoon

A Fathers Advice

Said a father to his son
"Oh my boy the time has come"
Your country it is calling unto thee
For those rebels once again
To unite us is their aim
And together we must stand to keep her free

Remember, our fathers brave and bold
As they fought for Ulsters cause in far off lands
Oh my father said to me "I must join the Y.C.V"
With a rifle or a pistol in my hand

From Belfast to Armagh
Carade to old Crossgar
From Ballymena to old Omagh town
With their standards flying high
As it was in days gone by
We will rally round the flag for liberty

Remember, our fathers brave and bold
As they fought for Ulsters cause in far off lands
Oh my father said to me "I must join the Y.C.V"
With a rifle or a pistol in my hand

Come all you Volunteers
Let us fight and never fear
Just like our fathers did so long ago
Though i'm sixteen years of age
In the Volunteers i'll engage
Like our fathers did so many years ago

Remember, our fathers brave and bold
As they fought for Ulsters cause in far off lands
Oh my father said to me "I must join the Y.C.V"
With a rifle or a pistol in my hand

Hands Across the Water

Just across the Irish Sea
Stirs a heart of Loyalty
Raised in Honour and in dignity
Drives a will to keep us British free
Not alone are we on this journey
For in a land just across the sea
Is a hand that reaches out in friendship
And a bond thats lasted centuries

And it's hands across the water
Reaching out for you and me
For Queen, For Ulster and For Scotland
Helps to keep our Loyal people free
Let the cry be "No Surrender"
Let no-one doubt this Loyalty
Reaching out to the Brave Red Hand of Ulster
Is the hand across the sea

And it's hands across the water
Reaching out for you and me
For Queen, For Ulster and For Scotland
Helps to keep our Loyal people free
Let the cry be "No Surrender"
Let no-one doubt this Loyalty
Reaching out to the Brave Red Hand of Ulster
Is the hand across the sea

Just across the Irish Sea
Stirs a heart of Loyalty
Raised in Honour and in dignity
Drives a will to keep us British free
Not alone are we on this journey
For in a land just across the sea
Is a hand that reaches out in friendship
And a bond thats lasted centuries

The men behind the wire

T'was a cold and gray November morn, as I left Belfast town
In a cold and lonely prison van, for Longkesh I was bound
Cause my spirit was unbroken and my heart was still un-found
Why, I knew that i'd soon be with the men behind the wire

When the judge had passed my sentence and the warder took me down
I cried out no surrender bless the red hand and the crown
But grant me just one favour, that is my one desire
Please let me serve my sentence with the men behind the wire

There were many things so strange to me and many more I knew
His only cry was Loyalty to the old red white and blue
And the love for dear old Ulster, Even in the darkest hour
He'd shine with them these loyal men, the men behind the wire

And when this war is over and our victory is won
Let us not forget the sacrifice made by these loyal sons
They were staunch and true for me and you so lift your glasses higher
Where would we have been without them, the men behind the wire

Billy McFadzean

Let me tell you a story of honour and glory
Of a young Belfast soldier Billy McFadzean by name
For King and for Country Young Billy died bravely
And won the VC on the fields of the Somme

Gone Like the snowflake that melts on the river
Gone like the first rays of days early dawn
Like the foam from the fountain
Like the mist from the mountain
Young Billy McFadzeans dear life has gone

Now Billy lies only were the red Flanders poppy
In wildest profusion paints the field of the brave
No piper recalling his deeds all forgotten
For Billy McFadzean has no known grave

Gone Like the snowflake that melts on the river
Gone like the first rays of days early dawn
Like the foam from the fountain
Like the mist from the mountain
Young Billy McFadzeans dear life has gone

So let us remember that brave Ulster soldier
The VC he won the young life that he gave
For duty demanding his courage outstanding
Private Billy McFadzean of the U.V.F

Here lies a soldier

In dungeon deep, I know what fates awaits me
Tied hand and foot, the foe has bound me fast
And in my pain, I pray my God above me
Will grant this wish I know will be my last

Don't bury me in Erin's fenian valley
Take me home to Ulster let me rest
And on my gravestone carve a simple message
Here lies a soldier of the UVF

Here lies a soldier, here lies a soldier
Who fought and died for what he thought was best
Here lies a soldier, here lies a soldier
Here lies a soldier of the UVF

So gently drape the red hand round my shoulders
Pin no heroes medals on my chest
But if they ask you, will you kindly tell them
Here lies a soldier of the UVF

Here lies a soldier, here lies a soldier
Who fought and died for what he thought was best
Here lies a soldier, here lies a soldier
Here lies a soldier of the UVF
